New year, new Scene Report. Here’s all the stuff you might’ve missed in the past few months.

In specific Impetus news, we recently released IMP011: a compilation cassette tape of Death By Indie’s first two releases, Self-titled and Junk!.
The Merger 7” is still on the way, but supply-chain issues and the pandemic looming overhead have lengthened production time.

BAND NEWS
Death By Indie, as mentioned before, put out their first 2 EPs on cassette right here through Impetus Records back in late December, which you can grab here. They’re also currently writing and recording their first album, which they’re looking to release potentially in late spring.
Kobika is heading into the studio soon to record their newest album. Other than that, they’ve mostly been hanging out in the Impetus basement.
Moonflower played several shows through the end of the year and recently released some new merch. They've also updated their lineup, with Liam Warren added on bass and Nate Lamborn moving to guitar. They'll be getting together again soon to write some new music.
Think Machine just put out their single Nostalgia a couple of weeks ago. James Williams has been added on bass and Reilly has moved to second guitar. They’ve similarly been busy with playing shows and prepping to hit the studio for their newest album.
Lemmeno is currently in the process of mixing an EP. They’ll potentially be playing shows down the road and are working on writing new material as well.
Graver's Lane put out their debut record Philophobia back in November and played a couple shows towards the end of the year. They’re currently wrapping up the release of their five-part documentary they filmed while recording the album, which you can find on their YouTube channel.
Hive Mind are currently recording their first full length album and are hoping to release it in the next few months.
Blue Deputy is almost done recording their first album.
Heisman is in the process of recording a new EP.
Eyebawl is working on writing a full-length album and otherwise crossing their fingers for shows to be safe to play soon again.
Johnny Football Hero (PHL) are in the beginning stages of writing for an eventual new release, but nothing is solidified at the moment.
Lab Tea has a single dropping in approximately 6 weeks. They’re also playing a show with Mo Lowda & The Humble on February 12th at The Queen in Wilmington- Click here to buy tickets.
NEW RELEASES
Mind Goblin put out their Fall 2021 Demonstration EP back in September and have played a couple shows since. They’re currently writing new music.
The Zheroes dropped Pointless, the lead single to their upcoming debut LP The Funeral I Lived For, on January 1st. A second single is set to follow it up for release on Valentine’s Day.
Grant Claytor is putting out a single in late February/early March followed by an EP soon after.
